Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is an American actress and producer well recognized for her high-quality performance in movies such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. She has won many awards for her performance which includes an Oscar. The path to acting began with Broadway by performing in a range of Broadway and Off Broadway productions. The actress is a lover of acting ever since when she was in the school. Her debut role in a play in fifth grade was in Helen Keller. Mumps made her lose hearing in one of her ear canals, but that was not enough to stop the actress from fulfilling her dream. She was a drama major at the college before moving to Pittsburgh to New York City to follow her dreams. She ran into Beth Henley in an elevator and the pair collaborated on Broadway Crimes of the Heart, Hunter's first film. When she moved to Los Angeles she tried to find film roles, and was able to secure the role of a co-star for the role of a supporting character in Swing Shift. In the years since, she has been in numerous films and shows and TV films over a career spanning more than 30 years. Holly Hunter was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star and the Women in Film Lucy Award.
